Parliament of Things deals with our empathy for objects and the ability to give an object a voice. The French philosopher, Bruno Latour, presents arguments for an alternative relationship between humans and things. This relationship is quite dualistic at the moment. Humans are the center of attention and have rights. Objects are seen primarily as being useful for humans. This ritual is an experiment, and exercise in giving objects a voice. What does an object want, what does it need/ What is the integrity of an object? There are various rights to their existence.
